We are here to support you to manage your health throughout your life. Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur, as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.

Once you are registered with us, our healthcare professionals will work with you to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further, and our active patient group exists to try to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

The practice has been in existence since the beginnings of the NHS. In the 1960s a purpose-built surgery was erected on our previous site at Guildford Road and, despite modest expansion in the 1970s, it was proving hopelessly inadequate by the late 1980s to meet demands. The surgery had been trying to move into a new building since 1990 and our main surgery eventually moved to our present purpose-built practice in November 1997.

Our main building is purpose built and has all the space and facilities to take us well into the this century and is perfectly placed for us to work in collaboration with the local Community Hospital, Woking Hospice, North West Surrey CCG and other general practices. We have ten consulting rooms, treatment rooms and minor surgery facilities, together with the administrative space and offices needed to run a general practice.

We also have a registered charity supporting us – which has done so since 1996. Our charity was initiated by Dr Newman (who retired from the practice in Sept 2015), and three of our patients, at a time when construction of the new building was underway and many patients were asking how they could help. From the funds in our charity we have been able to buy many items of medical equipment not normally available through the NHS.
